The system is built with sleek aluminum framing and the design solves aluminum's two big problems: thermal conductivity and condensation resistance, through an advanced composite aluminum framing system of Tom’s own design. The excellent energy efficiency rating and high condensation resistance of the window is achieved through the innovative use of two low-conductive thermal barriers of two different materials, a unique third barrier to stop convection, and 1-1/2" thick insulating glass, almost twice as thick as the industry standard. The framing and sash members are bonded with both a polyamide thermal break and a urethane resin thermal break. This is an industry first.
